Tuesday, April 5, 6:30-8pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

Join OPAWL and Ohio Voice for “Inhale/Exhale,” a collective healing and processing space on Tuesday, April 5th, 6:30-8pm. In light of the anniversaries of mass shootings in 2021 targeting East Asian women massage workers in Atlanta and Sikh FedEx workers in Indianapolis, this facilitated discussion and meditation is open to progressive organizers and activists of all genders who identify as AAPI (Asian, Asian American, or Pacific Islander).

This space will be facilitated by OPAWL member and counseling psychologist Dr. Jeeseon Park-Saltzman (she/her). Subtitles and a live transcript will be available during the session. We are committed to making our events accessible to Deaf and Hard of Hearing community members and can provide ASL interpretation if requested by March 29th. Please send any accessibility needs or other questions to <info@opawl.org>.

Note: OPAWL defines “AAPI” as including those of South Asian, Southeast Asian, East Asian, Central Asian, Southwest/West Asian, Pacific Islander, and Native Hawaiian descent, regardless of immigration status and inclusive of mixed-race individuals and transracial adoptees.
