Join us for the kick off of “Rise Up CBUS!,” a new program of the City of Columbus Department of Neighborhoods and the City of Columbus Department of Recreation and Parks that supports and promotes “Opportunity Rising,” Mayor Andrew J. Ginther’s aspirations for every Columbus resident to equitably prosper and grow. Hear from City Departments and community organizations, enjoy free food, and listen to local artists as we kick off the first of eight events that promote the City’s commitment to equity. Itinerary:
4:30pm: Event Opens
Visit “Mobile City Hall” to pick-up your passport and visit tables representing the 21 “Opportunity Rising Rays.” Learn about programs and services from the City and from community partners. Collect five stamps and earn a free dinner.

5:45pm: Opening Remarks and Programming
6pm: Local Band Honey and Blue takes the stage
7:30pm: Event Concludes
