Since its inception in the Spring of 2006, VisionWalk has raised over $64 million to fund sight-saving research. Join your VisionWalk community! Together, we step closer to fighting blinding diseases.

Schedule:

9am: Registration

10am: Stage Presentation

10:30am: Walk Begins

There is plenty of free parking in the lot right next door to the site on Creekside Plaza. There will be signs directing you there.

The route is wheelchair-and-stroller accessible, so bring the whole family.

The walk will start from the plaza and go down the ramp into the woods. It will be a shorter route than last year. Just follow the signs.

Remember, if you have not already sent in your money, please convert cash into a check and bring everything with you to the Walk. You should also bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a hat, a folding chair, and your team spirit and enthusiasm.

Fun activities starting at 9am:

• Refreshments [including by Starbucks and Einstein Brothers]

• D.J.

• Fire truck

• “Moments of Magic” fairytale characters

• “KidZone” entertainment [including bounce house, Giant Jenga and Giant Connect 4, face painting, and other fun stuff]

• Mini-pumpkin decorating station

• Carnival games [including “VisionWalk Space Invasion,” “Dinosaur Hunt,” and “VisionWalk Safari”]

• Ribbon-cutting ceremony

• Free hot dog lunch after the walk

Rain Plan:

The Walk is a rain-or-shine event. Keep an eye on our website if the weather takes a turn for the worse, as we will update if there is any change of plans.
