You’ve likely already heard that the Ohio Ballot Board – chaired by Sec. of State Frank LaRose– approved inaccurate, confusing, and misleading ballot language for the Citizens Not Politicians amendment, November 2024’s Issue 1.  

Former Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor described the ballot language process this way, “The self-dealing politicians who have rigged the legislative maps now want to rig the Nov. 5 election by illegally manipulating the ballot language."  

On Friday, the campaign announced that they plan to challenge the ballot language by requesting an expedited hearing by the Ohio Supreme Court.
