Housing policies can significantly influence health and equity. This talk presents novel research linking various policies — including housing vouchers, housing mobility programs, and COVID-19-era eviction moratoriums and rental assistance — to health outcomes across the lifespan.

Craig Pollack, MD, MHS, is the Katey Ayers Endowed Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the School of Nursing. He is a practicing internal medicine physician who conducts research at the intersection of housing and health. His work seeks to inform policies that help individuals and families live in safe and affordable homes.

This fall, CURA and MORPC are hosting a series of presentations featuring national and local leaders to dive into the issue of housing and its impact on communities.
