Wednesday, October 2, 8-9:30pm, First Unitarian Universalist Church, 93 W. Weisheimer Rd.
Kehilat Sukkat Shalom is an open, joyful, and inclusive community of individuals and families. Together they connect to and co-create interpretations of Judaism that help people navigate their lives in the 21st century. Kehilat Sukkat Shalom is affiliated with Reconstructing Judaism and ALEPH: The Alliance for Jewish Renewal.
The service will be conducted in English and Hebrew. The service consists of singing and a variety of prayers to usher in the new year, which for Jewish people is a time of reflection and renewal. Dress is respectable and business casual is probably a good guideline. Time to ask questions will be available following the service.
