Wednesday, January 29, 8pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

This virtual event, scheduled for Wednesday, January 29, at 5pm Pacific / 8pm Eastern, will bring together experienced organizers to share tactics for mobilizing people on campuses and elsewhere in your community, while understanding your legal rights amid rising repression.

We will be joined by these speakers:

Linda Sarsour, Organizer, Strategist, Author and Co-Founder of Until Freedom, Women’s March, and MPower Change;

Rachel Small, Canada Organizer for World BEYOND War

Jeffrey Sterling, Lawyer, Author, and CIA Whistleblower;

• Professors Sean Malloy and Christine Hong, organizers of the University of California People’s Tribunal

We’re excited to invite you to this online event as part of the launch of the Teach-In Network, which provides essential tools for action in solidarity with Palestinian people and many others suffering the effects of U.S. foreign policy.

The Teach-In Network is growing to support students, professors, and organizers — on and off campuses — in broadening knowledge, building power, and driving meaningful change. We aim to harness the power of teach-ins, and we want to help you organize your own!

With the Teach-In Network, you’ll gain access to a growing list of expert speakers. Whether your teach-in is virtual, in-person, or hybrid, the network ensures that you can draw on a wide range of expertise.

If you have any questions, please contact Ryan Black at <ryan@rootsaction.org>.
