Saturday, February 8, 12noon-2pm, Columbus Metropolitan Library [Parsons Branch], 1113 Parsons Ave. [this event will also be occurring via Zoom]

The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called “Going to HCCO” and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.

Event Presenter and Topic: Chris Highland, Humanist Chaplain and Syndicated Columnist, “Christian Supremacy vs. Secular Democracy”

Summary of the Presentation: The MAGA Cult represents what can happen when extremist religion takes power. Separation of religion and state, true religious freedom, and our secular democracy itself are under attack as the wall of separation is bending before the assault of those who believe they should rule America. Teacher and writer Chris Highland will expose the not-so-hidden agenda of the supremacists and offer some practical steps to protect rights for all.

Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.

Going forward, our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online.

Please use this Zoom link to join this event.

Hosted by Humanist Community of Central Ohio [HCCO].
