Tuesday, March 4, 10am to late afternoon [you can depart at your convenience], Public Utilities Commission of Ohio [Hearing Room 11-A, 11th Floor], 180 E. Broad St.

Your presence at this hearing is an important and final opportunity to help make the Eastern Cottontail Solar Project a reality. Together, we can continue the momentum from last month’s Public Hearing where dozens of supporters gave powerful, compelling testimony about how the project will benefit the community, local economy, agriculture, and more. Testifiers were among hundreds of supporters who packed the room and proved the community stands behind the Eastern Cottontail Solar Project and the benefits that it will provide.

With your help, this final hearing in Columbus on March 4 can have a significant and positive impact on the path forward for bringing more clean, affordable energy to central Ohio.

The Eastern Cottontail Solar Project is a proposed up-to-220-megawatt (AC) solar powered electric generating facility on approximately 1,550 acres of privately owned land in Fairfield County, Ohio. Located within Walnut Township, the purpose of this project will be to generate and deliver electricity to the bulk transmission system. The Eastern Cottontail Solar Project would include various equipment, including, without limitation, solar panels, inverters, and a project substation, all of sufficient size and capacity to achieve up to the proposed nameplate capacity set forth above.

Hosted by Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and Ohio Solar United.
