Sunday, April 27, 12:30pm, Washington Gladden Social Justice Park, northeast corner of E. Broad St. and Cleveland Ave.

Join us for a meaningful and family-friendly celebration of Earth Day in the heart of downtown Columbus!

• A local food truck on-site starting at 12:30pm

• Sidewalk chalk art led by students from Columbus College of Art and Design — fun for kids and families!

• A short program, beginning at 1pm, with local speakers sharing ideas and actions around sustainability and expanding Columbus’s tree canopy

Come early, grab lunch from the Grilled Cheese Gangsters Food Truck, get creative, and explore the nation’s first social justice park, home to the “Pathway of Justice” and the powerful sculpture, “Our Single Garment of Destiny,” inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Let’s celebrate our planet and our power to protect it — together.

This event is free and open to all.
