The 2025 Ohio Active Transportation Conference is hosted by the Ohio Department of Transportation to highlight best practices for advancing statewide goals related to walking and biking.

Making walking and biking in Ohio a safe, convenient and accessible transportation option requires the coordinated efforts of many organizations, institutions, and all levels of government. This event provides an opportunity for state and local decision-makers, transportation professionals, health and safety practitioners, advocates, and other private and public partners to come together to share, learn, and strategize with a focus on improving active transportation.

This work is both urgent and on-going and we hope to inspire motivation and collaboration to create a transportation system that truly serves all people here, in the Heart of it All.
