“Delaware 4 Good” is hosting an SOF event

 on Sunday, Dec 7. 2025   Noon – 1:00

in front of the Delaware City Hall,

1 S. Sandusky St, Delaware, 43015

Parking is free on Sundays, but we ask that you not park on the east side of Sandusky in front of the City Hall and south of it towards the OWU campus.  That is where we will begin our action.

This event is intended to be an hour long silent and solemn protest.  Wear plain dark clothing, dark hat, glasses, gloves (if it’s cold) and comfortable walking shoes.  Bring water. 

Signs are provided.

There will be quite a bit of slow quiet walking. We will first stand along Sandusky and then solemnly walk slowly along campus and through the downtown to the Historic Old Courthouse and pause to honor veterans of foreign wars, before returning to City Hall.  Please stand and walk 10 feet apart, when possible, to give maximum sign visibility.   We ask that participants refrain from conversation with each other and not engage with passersby.  We hope to have a few extra folks sign up to take photos and hold signs who can answer questions from folks if needed.

We need 20 sign holders. 

Extra folks are equally important.  You can fill in for anyone who comes late or cancels at the last minute.  You can talk to folks who have questions and share information about our weekly Saturday rallies. Photos and video to share online are extremely important and expand our impact. 

One or two drummers beating a slow solemn cadence adds to the overall impact.
