Socialism 101 is a two-month, hybrid series consisting of four gatherings, starting January 21, which teach new and prospective members about the basics of socialism and the details of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) organization with a focus on the local Columbus Chapter.

During these events, you will meet and mingle with leaders of the chapter as well as current membership. The first teach-in we'll be going over the social and economic systems of socialism as well as its thought traditions, practices and its contradictions to Capitalism. Be prepared to introduce yourself, learn and ask questions.
