In the past, there have been many attempts at holding accused Israeli war criminals accountable. Particularly memorable is the case of the late Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, (known, among other nicknames, as the ‘Butcher of Sabra and Shatila’) whose victims attempted to try him in a Belgian Court in 2002.

The visit by newly-elected Tunisian President Kais Saied to France on June 22 was intended to discuss bilateral relations, trade, etc. But it was also a missed opportunity, where Tunisia could have formally demanded an apology from France for the decades of French colonialism, which has shattered the social and political fabric of this North African Arab nation since the late 19th century.

I would like to announce the publication of a book, which discusses the excessive weight that our total human population and economy has imposed on the global environment. The book may be freely downloaded and circulated from the following link:

Malthus' “Essay on The Principle of Population”

Crispus Attucks

As protests against police brutality continue to rage all over America, it is mind boggling how many conservatives still don’t understand that reforming our criminal justice system is an issue they should support. As a former Libertarian candidate, eliminating systemic racism at all levels of government is something that I and other libertarians have always wanted. In a democratic republic, all lives don’t matter until Black lives matter. After all, how is spending billions of dollars on the futile war on drugs or overcrowded prisons a worthwhile use of taxpayer money? How is the over-militarization of police forces not the very definition of big government? How is “qualified immunity” for police officers who murder innocent citizens not a direct violation of our rights and a trait of tyranny?

Protester outside Ohio statehouse with sign saying The Real Plague with a rat with a swatiska on it

Just how at-risk was Dr. Amy Acton when alt-right protesters showed up at the Ohio Statehouse and her home back in May?

And how at-risk could protesters and activists be on July 4th?

There are rumors circulating online saying white nationalists, Proud Boys, and perhaps those who lust for the “Boogaloo” will confront Black Lives Matter protesters this weekend.

These are rumors, the Free Press has not confirmed whether any alt-right response is official, but don’t forget what happened in Bethel, Ohio, when 800 bikers some armed showed up to confront peaceful protesters. One of the biker gangs that showed in Bethel was confirmed to be the racist-leaning and known drug dealing Iron Horsemen, which was founded in Cincinnati and on a Department of Justice watchlist.

Boogaloos Bois, as we’ve come to learn of late, are a loose-knit network of far-right gun-lovers who secretly yearn for a civil war against the government, lefties, and people of color.

Tallahassee, FL --Three Florida legislators running for re-election, along with eight voters and the Florida Democratic Party, have filed a legal action to prevent state and local election officials from continuing to destroy election materials critical for verifying election results. The lawsuit filed Wednesday in state court asks that the ballot images automatically created by digital voting equipment used throughout Florida be preserved for 22 months as required by federal and state law and be treated as public records available for inspection and production under such laws.

Currently, at least 27 of the state's county Supervisors of Elections (SOEs) are preserving the ballot images while the others are not. The lawsuit seeks an order requiring Secretary of State Laurel Lee and State Elections Director Maria Matthews to instruct all SOEs of their legal duty to preserve ballot images and that defendant SOEs be enjoined from destroying the images following the August 18 primary and November 3rd general elections and all elections thereafter.
