We are so excited to announce our Fund-A-Thon for 2021!! Typically, this has been our biggest grassroots fundraising event each year, but instead of bowling, we’re expanding to a truly statewide event and rebuilding the celebration as a virtual variety show! On May 6th, we will be holding this virtual variety show, showcasing some of YOUR amazing talents, with prizes and giveaways. And, between now and then, join us just like you have before and start raising money to Fund Abortion in Ohio! As we mark the 1 year anniversary of this pandemic- of the loss of so many loved ones, the economic devastation, the social isolation, and joys stolen, mutual aid networks like abortion funds are needed more than ever. As Ohio’s statewide abortion fund, we’ve been hustling hard to serve the growing number of people calling our helpline and making sure ANYONE can access the abortions they need, in the face of this continuing pandemic, existing abortion restrictions, and new legislative and legal attacks on abortion. We also understand that the need for connection, support, and joy doesn’t stop during difficult times, and Fund-a-Thon 2021 will be focused on creating opportunities for us to raise money safely together and have a bunch of FUN busting abortion stigma! In the spirit of past Bowl-A-Thons, we want to capture the excitement and feeling of community that this event brings. We hope you are as excited as we are for this excuse to get silly, have fun, make memes, play games, dance, and share our passion for abortion access in Ohio!   *So, how do I join?* 1. Using our fundraising website at http://fund.nnaf.org/whoo2021, set up a team and/ or register as an individual for your fundraising page (there are prizes for top individual fundraisers and the top team for a little healthy competition.) 2. Share your individual fundraising page with your friends and family via text, email, social media, or a good ole fashioned phone call—however you reach your networks—for donations!
