We are witnessing a global uprising from people of color in the United States and around the world: 400 years of systemic racism and the unrelenting historical momentum it has created has reached a tipping point and it’s on white folks to meet this moment with a renewed commitment to personal and structural transformation. One of the most important things we can do right now is commit to having the hard conversations with our white friends, families and communities - to break white silence and engage our people in the work of racial justice. Please join SURJ Ohio for a text and phone bank to break white silence and to have these important conversations with other white people in our lives.  The 1st half of the call will equip you with the tools to have these conversations and the 2nd half we'll be doing the work of reaching out to white folks in our networks.
