Ideas for signs: Black Trans Lives Matter, Black Trans Liberation Now, Say Her Name This election cycle is coming to a close, but the fight continues to dismantle racism, transmisogyny and transphobia, capitalistic greed, and all other forms of oppression in our so-called "Land of the Free." This year has surpassed the last in documented killings of Black trans people, especially Black trans women. Our people are being stolen from us at heartbreaking speed. No matter who is President, everyone has the duty to rise up against the injustices that our Black trans family face on a daily basis. The State will not give us the means to free ourselves -- only communities working together to define their needs can secure our liberation! #BlackTransLivesMatter #BlackLivesMatter #asseenincolumbus #transisbeautiful
