J.U.S.T builds consciousness in part by supplying essential resources that our local community needs to survive, such as hot meals, clean clothes, and hygiene products. We deeply believe in materially and ideologically meeting people where they are at.
The community serve is held twice a month at 2627 Sullivant Ave. The service provides many essential needs, such as food, clothing, books, hygiene items, and much more. The best part is that it's
free and the perfect starting place for newcomers to join us in helping the community.
We believe in Justice, Unity, and Social Transformation. JUST's establishment is determined by the systemic oppression affecting every facet of our society under capitalism. With specific roots in so-called Columbus, Ohio, we aim to uplift, enrich, and provide assurance for marginalized communities. Our organization was born out of the 2020 uprising against anti-Blackness, and the fight against anti-Black racism remains central to our mission today. Rooted in the understanding that all forms of oppression are interconnected, we are driven to confront a wide range of systemic injustices. Accordingly, we work across a variety of issue areas, including but not limited to homelessness, police brutality, healthcare inequity, racism, and imperialism.
We believe that revolutionary action is needed to dismantle capitalism and its systemic injustices. Direct action, mutual aid, political education, and other similar strategies are foundational to resisting our broken system. Through these actions, we can overcome ever-present systemic injustice.
