A gathering to learn and explore "Deep Adaptation" as an approach to navigating the crises of climate change and failing institutions.  How do we face the deep levels of change happening right now, in our lifetimes? Climate change, deteriorating ecosystems, species extinctions, political divisions, and business as usual running an unsustainable global economy - it can be overwhelming, and some of us are asking what it is going to take for us to cope, to adapt, and yes, change how we live.  We will show a video interview with a powerful thought leader, Vanessa Andreotti (pictured below). She is the Canada Research Chair in Race, Inequalities and Global Change at University of British Columbia and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education. She has extensive experience working across sectors internationally in areas of education. You are welcome and encouraged to view it before we meet: https://youtu.be/Pyz_qOs96nA.  Art Yoho will join us in the Q&A discussion. Art brings his experience internationally and his leadership locally in the Bliss Run sangha, based on the practices of Thich Nhat Hanh. Note: Curious about Simply Living or just want to know more? Come early at 6:30 pm for a Meet Simply Living event where you will learn about our origins and current programs. Q&A with Chuck Lynd.  Both meetings are free. Light refreshments will be provided. Location:  Northwood High Building, Room 100, 2231 N High St Columbus 43201. FREE, Donations Appreciated.
