From the first days of the Trump presidency, feminist struggle has been at the forefront of the resistance, notably during the Women's March which was the single largest day of protest in U.S. history.

With a virulent misogynist in the White House, the need for a fighting feminist movement has rarely been as clear. Struggle has arisen on multiple fronts, from resistance to the Trump agenda, to practical defense of abortion rights, and mass exposure of sexual harassment and assault from the top to the bottom of U.S. society.

At this reading meeting, we will create a space to discuss and debate these new developments in struggle from a socialist perspective. We will discuss debates around the women's march and electoralism, the role of clinic defense and pro-choice strategy, and the significance of the #MeToo moment.
