Pride Month is to celebrate and uplift the LGBTQ+ community, but in recent years, it has become filled with businesses and corporate sponsors who claim to stand in support of equality, but do not truly understand what our communities need. Do they, along with allies, know how to show up for LGBTQ+ liberation in a way that is not white-washed rainbow capitalism?

Come listen to LGBTQ+ community organizers and leaders on the struggles they’ve faced, what Pride Month means to them, and what we actually need to be doing to improve the lives and conditions of the LGBTQ+ people that we are supposed to be protecting and uplifting.

In lieu of tickets, we ask that each attendee make a small donation to the Trans Lifeline [translifeline.org].
