Join us to discuss building the fight against sexist and racist oppression under capitalism, and for a society based on our needs - a socialist world!  A new women's movement has developed through the giant women's marches, the online explosion of #MeToo, and now through workers taking job action to fight sexual harassment. Increasingly, women are enraged by there being one set of rules for the elites and another for everyone else. The appointment of Kavanaugh poses a real threat to women, but we should also remember that Roe v. Wade was won during the momentous movements of the 1960s and 1970s, when a conservative Supreme Court was dragged along by the pace of events and rapidly changing public opinion.  We need a women's movement with an organized socialist feminist wing that will fight to center the needs of working class women, women of color, and LGBTQ people. It will take a determined movement in the streets and in our community, workplaces and schools to stop Trump's right wing offensive.  Location:  Columbus Metropolitan Library, Northside Branch, 1423 N.
