Stop HB 324! Protect Mifepristone
Ohio House Bill 324 would restrict access to mifepristone, a safe and commonly used abortion medication, and force doctors to deliver state-mandated medical misinformation.
An opposition hearing will be held by the House Health Committee on Wednesday, October 8th, at 10AM. Please attend if you are able. We want them to know we are watching and that we reject government interference in personal health decisions.
Written testimony is due on Tuesday, October 7th, before 10 AM. Submit your testimony as a PDF to OHRHealthCommittee@ohiohouse.gov, even if you cannot attend in-person. Include this witness slip with your email and indicate whether your testimony will be offered IN PERSON or WRITTEN ONLY. All testimony should be less than 5 minutes in length. Be sure to use the right email and submit it before the deadline. Otherwise, your testimony may not be accepted.
Our partners at Planned Parenthood and Ohio Equal Rights created a toolkit to help. It is a living document and is constantly being updated.
