“Let’s Talk Transit: A Happy Hour Discussion on the Future of Mobility in Columbus,” hosted by Transit Columbus

Transit Columbus is hosting a series of happy hour panel discussions with city and COTA leadership to dig deeper into upcoming transit and mobility initiatives and what they mean for residents of central Ohio.

On September 3, we’re partnering with NLC [New Leaders Club] ColumbusColumbus Urban League Young Professionals, and Ohio Environmental Council Emerging Leaders to learn more about LinkUS, BikePlus, and the future of mobility in our region.

Directions:

The Den at Parsons North is directly accessible via COTA lines 4 and 8. If you need help planning your journey, you can download the COTA Transit App.

Some bicycle parking is available directly in front of Parsons North Brewing, but feel free to bring your bike inside if needed. The venue is also within the zone available to scooters and CoGo riders.

If you choose to drive, please make an effort to carpool. Parking instructions are available on the venue’s website.

“LinkUS Transit Initiative with Columbus City Council Members Shannon Hardin and Lourdes Barroso de Padilla,” hosted by Clintonville Area Progressives and Ben Leland

We are excited to welcome Columbus City Council President Shannon Hardin and Columbus City Councilmember Lourdes Barroso de Padilla to our September meeting!

Join us on Tuesday, September 3 at the Whetstone Library to learn from our special guests about the Central Ohio LinkUS initiative, which will be on the ballot this November. Doors open at 6:30pm; the meeting will begin at 7pm.

LinkUS is a comprehensive transit plan that seeks to incorporate expanded and improved public transit, trails, bikeways, sidewalks, and more throughout Central Ohio.
