• Hassan El-Tayyab, Legislative Director for Middle East policy for FCNL [Friends Committee on National Legislation], leading their efforts to end U.S. military involvement in the Saudi-led war on Yemen, advocate for Palestinian human rights, and advance diplomacy with Iran. Hassan was honored by Arab America Foundation as an awardee of its 2022 “40 under 40” initiative, for his policy work on Capitol Hill.

• Dr. Assal Rad, Historian of Modern Middle East (PhD, History, University of California Irvine); author, “State of Resistance: Politics, Culture, and Identity in Modern Iran”

• Jeffrey Sterling, Whistleblower Advocate for RootsAction and a former CIA case officer for nearly a decade, including on the Iran Task Force. He served two years in prison after being convicted of violating the Espionage Act.

• Emma Claire Foley, Campaign Director for Defuse Nuclear War and Specialist on Nuclear Issues for RootsAction; writer and filmmaker who has spent career working for nuclear disarmament campaigns
