This year marks the 40th anniversary of JewishColumbus’ first Holocaust ceremony, a milestone in our commitment to remembrance and education. Join us on Friday, April 25, at 12noon [arrive by 11:30am to allow sufficient time to go through security], at Columbus City Hall, 90 W. Broad St.
This event will feature keynote speaker Ms. Cheryl Hecht, daughter of a Kindertransport survivor, and will conclude with a wreath-laying at the Alfred Tibor “Freedom” sculpture in Battelle Riverfront Park. If transportation assistance is needed, grants are available through the Ohio Holocaust and Genocide Commission. Please RSVP for this event by April 18.
