Join the Ohio Environmental Council’s team of experts to learn more about how you can get involved in advocacy to protect our environment. Designed to complement our new Advocacy Toolkit, these trainings will help you to understand some key parts of successful advocacy. These virtual training sessions will take place on three different days through the coming weeks.

“Advocacy Training: Advocacy 101: How a Bill Becomes a Law in Ohio”

Turning a bill into a law can be a complicated process. If you’re not a pro, understanding what’s happening with legislation at the Statehouse can feel overwhelming. It doesn’t have to be! We’ll dive into the lawmaking process here in Ohio. We’ll share the basics on following legislation at the Statehouse, so you can feel empowered to get involved on the issues that are important to you.
