Join Central Ohio Revolutionary Socialists on Thursday, May 25 for the second part of our reading group on the “Autobiography of Assata Shakur.”
This book gives a personal and political look into the life of Assata Shakur, a Black Panther, feminist, and revolutionary activist during the radical movements of the 60s and 70s and details her struggle against the repression that she and many others had faced at the hands of the U.S. government.
We will cover chapters 8-14 this week; the third meeting will cover chapters 15-21.
A PDF of this book is available here.
This meeting will take place in-person at the Enarson Classrooms Building, Rm. 214, on the OSU campus, and on-line at tinyurl.com/CORSMeeting.
Hosted by Central Ohio Revolutionary Socialists.
