Saturday, March 25, 7pm, Columbus Mennonite Church, 35 Oakland Park Ave.

Uplifting original acoustic folk music will fill the air Saturday, March 25, as Mustard’s Retreat takes the stage at the latest monthly concert sponsored by the Columbus Folk Music Society.

Formed in 1975, Mustard’s Retreat has traveled more than a million miles and has performed more than 6,000 shows to the delight of fans and reviewers alike. Libby Glover and David Tamulevich weave together fun and compelling stories, sweet vocal harmonies, and fine guitar picking that touch people’s souls.

Mustard’s Retreat takes the stage at 8pm, but come earlier for other activities:

At 6pm, an informal folk music jam where you can listen or participate!

At 7pm, an open mic segment for three different folk acts.

At 7:45pm, as a warm-up for the main concert, the audience will join in a folk music sing-along that always sparks a warm feeling of community.

A donation of $15 at the door is suggested, $10 for CFMS members.

There’s free parking in the Mennonite Church parking lot, also along Oakland Park Ave., and in the North Broadway Methodist Church parking lot [that is accessible by going north on Broadway Place] [it is just a short walk northward from that parking lot to the Mennonite church].

Hosted by Columbus Folk Music Society.
