Thursday, April 7, 7pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

When we’re talking about repealing the death penalty, the voices of victim family members of victim family members must be heard loud and clear.

On April 7 at 7pm, join the #NoDeathPenaltyOH coalition for “Capital Punishment: An interfaith conversation and co-victim perspectives.” This virtual event will include a panel of families of murder victims speaking to an interfaith audience about the harm created by the death penalty.

Speakers will include:

• Jonathan Mann of Columbus, who lost his father to murder

• Jane Mitchell of Columbus, who lost her brother to murder

• Rukiye Abdul-Mutakallim of Cincinnati, who lost her son to murder

• LaShawn Ajamu of Cleveland, who lost her brother to murder

• Lynette Grace of Barberton, who was stabbed and lost her best friend to murder

Hosted by Congregation Beth Tikvah and Columbus Mennonite Church, this event will be broadcast statewide.
