Wednesday, September 27 to Sunday, October 1, several locations in Columbus

The Wexner Center for the Arts is proud to help kick off the ninth-annual edition of Cartoon Crossroads Columbus (CXC), a five-day festival celebrating the best of cartoon art and animation in all their forms.

This year’s edition features conversations with acclaimed cartoonists Daniel Clowes and Raina Telgemeier, as well as the Wex-organized spotlight on DreamWorks. Our tribute to the Academy-Award-winning studio includes free screenings of such DreamWorks classics as Shrek and Kung-Fu Panda as well as a 25th anniversary presentation of The Prince of Egypt featuring co-director Brenda Chapman, who will join us for an in-person discussion and a question-and-answer period.

This five-day festival will take place at sites around the city including Ohio State’s Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum, Columbus College of Art and Design, Columbus Museum of Art, Columbus Metropolitan Library, and the Gateway Film Center.

Visit the CXC website for the full festival schedule.
