Saturday, February 17, 5:45-9:30pm, Nationwide Arena, 200 W. Nationwide Blvd.

The Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo is coming back to Columbus on February 17 to exploit animals for “entertainment.” Join us in standing up against cruelty to animals by peacefully protesting outside of the Nationwide Arena on Saturday, February 17, 6-7:45pm. We may also leaflet afterwards.

We will gather outside at the southeast entrance (the corner of W. Nationwide Blvd. and N. Front St.).

This rodeo includes bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, and barrel racing. The horses, bulls, and steers often suffer broken ribs, backs, and legs, torn tails, punctured lungs, internal organ damage, ripped tendons, torn ligaments, snapped necks, and agonizing deaths. These animals did not sign up for this; they deserve better.

Feel free to bring your own sign if you would like! We’ll be outside for over an hour so be sure to dress for the weather.

You may sign the “Stop rodeos from occurring at Nationwide Arena” petition if you wish.

Hosted by Columbus Vegan Meetup.
