Saturday, January 28 and Sunday, January 29, 9am-4pm, Greater Columbus Arts Council, 182 E. Long St.
The public is invited to observe the jurying process for the 2023 Columbus Arts Festival. Jurying will take place at the Greater Columbus Arts Council office at 182 E. Long St. Metered street parking is available.
Over the course of the weekend, the jury will review more than 800 applications and will select a maximum of 250 artists to participate in this year’s festival.
Each artist submits four images of their work, one booth photo and an artist statement. The jury is conducted as a blind jury, with no identifying names or demographics provided for the artists being reviewed.
The 2023 Festival jurors are Daric Gill, Lance Johnson, Char Norman, Dr. Ramya Ravisankar, and Tariq Tarey.
The jurying process is an excellent opportunity for curators, collectors, and gallery owners to see and discover a wide variety of artists. While the jury process is open to the public, the jury members will not be available for questions and the public does not provide input to the jury selections. Festival staff may, however, be approached with questions.
Please note that the posted end times for each day may change. The public is invited to observe the jury process at any point during the weekend — visitors are encouraged and may come and go at will.
The final list of exhibiting artists will be announced during late March.
The 2023 Columbus Arts Festival will be held June 9-11 along the downtown riverfront.
Hosted by Greater Columbus Arts Council.
