Sunday, November 7, 11am, The Dawes Arboretum, 7770 Jacksontown Rd., Newark, Ohio

What do you do with an extra hour when we “fall back” from Daylight Savings Time? Spend it with fellow vegans at The Dawes Arboretum in Newark, Ohio.

The leaves may be gone and a cold Autumn breeze in the air (so dress accordingly), but these fantastic gardens express beauty every day of the year. We will meet in the parking lot on the left, just after you come into the entrance. There is a main shelter house in the back of the parking lot where we can congregate; we will begin the walk at around 11:15am.

Some of us purchased memberships on our last visit. For those who don’t have a membership, admission is just $10 for the day [9am-7pm].

Use this link if you want to purchase your ticket in advance.

Apple cider and vegan cookies will be provided after the walk. If the weather is really cool, we’ll have hot apple cider, dairy-free hot chocolate, and vegan cookies.

If the weather is horrid [heavy snow, rain, sleet, or temperatures below 40 degrees], we’ll reschedule.

You may contact Noah or myself with any questions or concerns.

We hope that you will be able to join us in our excursion with Nature!
