Wednesday, September 3, 4-7pm, Espy Adaptive Sports Complex [formerly Franklin Park Adventure Center], 1755 E. Broad St.
The newly renovated Espy Adaptive Sports Complex is designed to make recreation accessible for everyone. Formerly the Franklin Park Adventure Center, the facility supports therapeutic programs. Renamed in honor of Ben and Kathy Espy, the complex continues their legacy of inclusion and opportunity for all.
Join us for the open house to tour the space, meet staff and try hands-on demonstrations such as boccia, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and adaptive fitness.
The Espy Adaptive Sports Complex is located within Franklin Park between E. Broad St. and the street known as Franklin Park S.
Please note: This location is only minimally accessible to those who travel via COTA fixed-route buses [for example, the COTA #10 “Broad St.” bus] and/or those who choose to travel to that location as pedestrians.
