Wednesday, October 23, 6pm, this on-line event requires advance registration
The fourth and final U.S. elections webinar, “Faith-based Migrant Justice,” will be held on Wednesday, October 23, at 6pm.

Election day in the United States is two weeks away, with early voting already underway in many states. The elections will have significant consequences for migration policy, and this webinar will set out to explain what would be more in line with Catholic Social Teaching, and how one might evaluate candidates with platforms that fall short of those teachings. The webinar will be led by Maryknoll Lay Missioner Heidi Cerneka, an immigration lawyer in El Paso, Texas, Maryknoll Sister Susan Nchubiri, program associate at MOGC, and Iqbal Ahmad, from Afghanistan, Intern and Fellow of the University of Notre Dame’s Kroc Institute.
The recordings of previous webinars are on our website and on YouTube. It is still possible to register to vote in many states, so be sure to register or check your registration and make a plan to vote, either at your polling location on November 5, or earlier, according to your state’s early voting policies. Signs indicate that turnout on November 5 will be large. In this contentious election, we recommend voting early where possible.
