Join us for a brand-new format for our “First Fridays.” On the first Friday of each month, we will be hosting an open discussion about recent news events and their implications to national, international, and human security.
For our first “First Friday” of the semester, we will be discussing the U.S. leaving Afghanistan and what it means for American foreign policy.
Mershon Center Director Christopher Gelpi will open the discussion by briefly describing the recent news and opening up the discussion for comments and reflection on this recent article from Politico Magazine: “Can America Still Help Afghanistan? 8 Former Officials on What’s Next.”
