Join ReImagine Appalachia and Appalachian Voices for a “Grant of the Month” event featuring the Mid-Atlantic Environmental Justice Fund. We’ll discuss the parameters of this new opportunity, with plenty of time for questions, discussion and networking. The goal of the fund is to promote the long-term benefits of healthy community forests, which can improve air and water quality, enhance public health, and support local economies. This webinar will provide details about the funding opportunity as well as opportunities for technical assistance for communities interested in applying for the grant. You can learn more about this opportunity here, but grants range from up to $100,000 for organizational capacity building to $200,000 for workforce development; there is no maximum request for tree canopy implementation projects.

Applicants may apply for one or more areas in a single application. The deadline for applications will be Friday, March 14 at 4pm.
