The primary objective of the “Guns D.O.W.N. Summit” event is to foster engagement among young people in critical areas such as conflict resolution, career readiness, wellness, and social justice. This event will have a variety of guest presenters, community leaders, and youth speakers.

Youth participants will receive food and snacks as well as gain the opportunity to receive swag giveaways and other prizes. We will also have tables of various community resources, 360° photo booth, music, art, and more.

What’s happening at this event:

• Young people and guests will be speaking and performing

• Young people will engage in interactive workshops

• Community vendor resource fair

• Info on summer jobs, career, and internship programs

• Photo booth, free food, snacks, giveaways and more.
