Thursday, December 12, 4pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

There is so much moving during this busy holiday season. Winding down this year while we are preparing for the next is important work, which is why I am inviting you to a call tomorrow.

On Thursday, December 12 at 4 pm ET / 1pm PT, our friends at the Election Sabotage Response Network (ESRN) will be hosting a virtual training to teach progressive people of faith the skills we’ll need to organize in the face of growing authoritarianism. This training draws from the 2024 HOPE Project, a multidisciplinary research project on the best methods to prevent and overcome political violence.

Please RSVP now for “Harnessing our Power to End Political Violence” tomorrow, December 12, at 4pm ET / 1pm PT.

You’ll learn how to empower individuals and strengthen communities to make political violence backfire against those who incite, threaten, and enact it. We may need these tools in the future, and what we learn will be essential to keep our families and communities safe.

The more we create community together, train ourselves up, and organize, the better we’ll be able to guard against harmful outcomes over the coming years.
