Saturday, January 29, 8pm, this event will be live-streamed on “Facebook Live”

For years, New Hampshire’s Heather Pierson’s original songs and albums have been near the top at the nation’s folk music radio stations and performing venues. On Saturday, January 29, she’ll bring her compelling music to us . . . virtually. Her on-line concert is sponsored by the Columbus Folk Music Society, and you’re all invited to tune in.

Five years ago, Heather performed for us in person, so we know what her website says is true: “From New Orleans traditional jazz to blues to rousing Americana and poignant folk, Heather’s songs and musicianship embody joy, honesty, and a desire to share from the heart.”

Her voice is sweet, and she’s also excellent on several instruments: piano, guitar, tenor banjo, ukulele, and melodica. Heather will be backed up in this exciting performance by her partner and bass player, Shawn Nadeau.

During this on-line only program, you’ll be told how you can contribute money to Heather in appreciation of her music. The suggested donation is $15 for the general public and $10 for Columbus Folk Music Society members.
