Wednesday, January 29, 8:30am, Ohio Statehouse Atrium

In recognition of Human Trafficking Prevention Month, the Collaborative to End Human Trafficking is hosting an advocacy day along with its partners from across Ohio.

Human Trafficking Prevention Advocacy Day is a dedicated event bringing together advocates, legislators, survivors, and community leaders in Ohio to unite in the fight against human trafficking. The day will begin with a morning address by elected officials, setting the stage for collective action and shared commitment. Advocates from across the state will come together to build networks, exchange insights, and strengthen their collaborative efforts. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a brief “Human Trafficking 101” training, equipping them with essential knowledge on identifying and addressing trafficking. Small-group meetings with legislators will follow, allowing advocates to share personal stories, discuss policy needs, and explore how legislation can support survivor-centered, preventative initiatives across the state.

Together, we can amplify our voices and drive impactful change. Join us in standing against human trafficking and supporting a future where everyone can live free from exploitation.
