Thursday, April 29, 1:45-5pm, Ohio Statehouse

Join Unemployed Action Ohio, a collective of unemployed workers from across the state, as we give public testimony to the Unemployment Improvement Council.

If you’ve experienced challenges while navigating the ODJFS [Ohio Department of Job and Family Services] unemployment system, then let your voice be heard by Ohio legislators with the power to fix!

Here’s how to submit written, and/or in-person, testimony, in three steps:

Step 1:Write your testimony — one-page written / 2-minutes spoken (maximum)

Step 2:Submit your testimony — via email — to <Matthew.Taylor@ohiohouse.gov>, <Benjamin.Allison@ohiosenate.gov>, and <Aaron.Mabe@ohiosenate.gov>. Deadline is 2pm on Wednesday, April 28.

Step 3:Testify in-person (optional) — if you are attending in-person, you must fill out a witness slip and email it with your written testimony submission. Information about how to do this may be found our Facebook event discussion page.

If you plan on driving and need a gas card to cover parking/transportation, please fill out this form.
