As part of the OSU College of Social Work’s “50 Years” Project, Professor Lisa Garcia Bedolla from University of California at Berkeley will be presenting “Latino Political Engagement and the Future of U.S. Politics” on Monday, October 26, 1-2:30pm, in the OSU Multicultural Center’s Alonso Family Room. The OSU Multicultural Center is located on the first floor in the Ohio Union, 1739 N. High St.

After the talk, the exhibit “Migration Experiences” will open in Hagerty Hall’s atrium, at 2:45pm. Hagerty Hall is located at 1775 College Rd.

Food and refreshments will be provided.

Both events are recognitions of the 50th anniversary of the passage of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 and are co-sponsored by the OSU College of Social Work, the OSU Political Science Department, the OSU Latina/o Studies Program, the OSU Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and the OSU Multicultural Center.
