During this presentation, BRAVO [Buckeye Region Anti-Violence Organization] will be speaking to us on the prevalence of human trafficking among the LGBTQ+ population and its probable causes. Participants will learn about the unique vulnerabilities that are facing LGBTQ+ youth and the reasons why they do not readily identify as victims of human trafficking. This training will also identify ways in which agencies and organizations might better meet the needs of LGBTQ+ trafficking victims, as well as affirming and inclusive terminology to utilize when working with this community.

Presenters:

• Carolyn Wilson, BA Ed., she/her/hers, Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator for BRAVO
