Monday, November 13, 12noon-1:30pm, The Citadel, 1761 Parsons Ave.

What’s the longer history behind the current genocide in Gaza? Why do we call Israel a settler-colonial and apartheid state? Why is Israel the biggest recipient of U.S. aid? What are the different ways that Palestinians have resisted over 75 years of occupation? Join Ohio State University professors, Bayan Abusneineh and Pranav Jani, for a talk and discussion.

Pranav Jani is an associate professor of English and faculty advisor for SJP [Students for Justice of Palestine] at The Ohio State University. Pranav is a longtime organizer and social justice activist and knows for a face that solidarity is the only way that we win.

Bayan Abusneineh is a Provost Fellow in the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies department at The Ohio State University. Bayan is a scholar and an activist on Palestine and reproductive justice.
