Some of us from the Columbus Vegan Meetup will be meeting at COhatch, the Lookout Room, for drinks and to see what options are open to us vegans for Earth Day as far as volunteering and cleaning up Mother Earth on 4/22. Join us on Tuesday, March 28, 6-8pm, at COhatch Upper Arlington!

Check out the below information. By the end of the evening, we will have some great ideas on where to volunteer as a group. We will post these prior to Earth Day and let everyone know where to meet, clean up our environment, and congregate as vegan friends. As always, we will plan where to eat, too, to support a restaurant that is vegan or offers vegan options.

“We are only a few weeks away from the start of Earth Day Columbus, and there are over 100 community worksites in need of volunteers. On March 28, come learn about the projects happening near you, sign up to volunteer, and enjoy $3 beers from Great Lakes Brewing Company. Attendees who register to volunteer during April will receive a free drink! All proceeds from this event will go toward the cost of soil, mulch, and tree seedlings for community worksites.”

• Why? To fundraise and generate volunteer support for 100+ Earth Day Columbus community service sites

• Who? Open to the public! 21+ to purchase alcohol

How? Free admission, just show up!
