Houses of worship should be free from the scrutiny and influence of politics. The November election is a critical time for all Americans. It is usually when religious leaders remind their congregations and communities to exercise their civic duty by voting. This program will highlight the history and importance of protecting the Johnson Amendment.

Featured presenters include the Americans United for Separation of Church and State [AU] Vice President of Public Policy, Maggie Garrett; Arkansas Sixth Circuit Judge and Pastor of New Millennium Church, Rev. Wendell Griffen; Founder of Congregation Beth Adam, Rabbi Robert Barr; and co-founder and Executive Director of Hindu American Foundation, Suhag Shukla [as moderator].
