Ohio’s new EdChoice Expansion law will increase state spending on private school tuition to more than $1billion by the next school year. Private education is significantly different from public education in terms of who is served, transparency, accountability, the common good, and community impact. Join us as we consider who benefits and who pays for vouchers, issues to monitor, what could happen next, and the threat that privatization poses to democratic goals and public education itself.
