Thursday, February 16, 9pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

In this three-part series, we’ll focus on various communities that continue to face disparities in healthcare and beyond. Part one will focus on how Black communities continue to experience substantial marginalization, leading to health disparities. Black LGBTQ+ people especially continue to encounter social and healthcare stigmas.

Many Black LGBTQ+ people continue to feel isolated, rejected, and alone. All diverse identities, races, and colors are beautiful. We must listen more, hear more, and embrace more.

In this OutTalk, we will hear from amazing panelists about their experiences, thoughts, and organizations to spread the love Black and LGBTQ+ people deserve!

Panelists include:

• Kenya Hutton, Deputy Director at Center for Black Equity

• Tangela Roberts, PhD, Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology, Western Michigan University

• Michele Battle-Fisher, MPH, MA, Associate Director of Research, Equitas Health Institute

• John Sovec, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and OutTalk Moderator
